About AIBenchly

AIBenchly is a small, independent site that helps solopreneurs and creators decide which AI tools and SaaS products are worth paying for. We are not owned by, or partnered exclusively with, any software company.

How articles are made

Our articles are written from research: official pricing pages, product documentation, terms of service, changelogs, and public user discussions. We cite what vendors state and flag what we could not confirm.

Unless an article explicitly says otherwise, we have not run a long-term hands-on test of the tool. We do not publish star ratings, invented scores, user testimonials, or usage numbers we cannot source.

Who writes here

Articles are published by the AIBenchly Editorial Team. We don't list individual bylines, and we won't invent named experts or personas.

Research methods

  • Research-based. Every article is built from public sources, not from our own lab tests.
  • Official sources first. Prices, plan limits and features come from each vendor's official pricing pages, help docs and terms. Each article ends with a Sources list and the date we checked.
  • No hands-on testing unless stated. If we ever test a tool ourselves, the article will say so explicitly and show what we did. Otherwise, assume it was not tested.
  • No invented data. No star ratings, made-up scores, fake testimonials or search-volume estimates. If we can't verify something, we leave it out or say it's unverified.

How affiliate links work

Some links pay us a commission if you sign up, at no extra cost to you. Each article says so near the top. Which tools pay us doesn't change what the official pages say, and we also link to tools that pay us nothing.

How updates happen

Every page shows when it was first published. When we make a meaningful change, such as new prices, corrected facts or rewritten sections, we add an "Updated" date. We don't change dates without changing content.

What a verdict means

Instead of a score, each review says who a tool is a good fit for, who should skip it, and what to watch out for. Your situation decides which tool is best; we try to make that decision quicker.

Money

The site is funded by affiliate commissions. See our affiliate disclosure for how that works and how we keep it from shaping verdicts.

Corrections

Software changes fast. If something here is out of date or wrong, tell us and we will fix it and update the date on the page.
